The Prague Airport
Prague Airport Ruzyne is a modern and spacious international airport. It is located on the northwest edge of Prague and around 17 km north of the city. There is no other civil airport in Prague. So all international flights arrive here.
Since the new terminal 2 was opened, new facilities have increased and passenger comfort has also been improved. New conference rooms and other spaces, e.g. for VIP and business clients, for those travelling with children etc has been built. Overall Prague Airport is a comfortable, clean and easy place to use and orientate oneself around.
You have three possibilities how to get from the airport to Prague City.
1. You can use the public transport. Take the bus from the airport. You can get to underground stations on two different lines. The journey from the airport to the city centre takes around 50 minutes. There is no train or subway connection direct from the airport.
2. You can use the taxi. Average taxi price to the Prague centre is around 650 CZK (26€ / 21£). It is different by each company. The journey from the airport takes then around 25-30 minutes.
